Using the most current, up-to-date methods and assessment tools, Dr. Enochs works with parents, teachers, and adults to provide the most comprehensive assessment possible.  This enables parents and adults to save time and money by gaining information about a range of the student's functioning and receiving specific recommendations which are tailored to each person and his/her unique situation.

The Comprehensive Assessment Examines

1.  Intellectual functioning/aptitude

2.  Information processing, including auditory and visual

3.  Problem-solving and memory

4.  Attention

5.  Educational functioning, including reading, language, and mathematics

6.  Emotional/social functioning

Assessment Can Help

-  Identify students who are gifted

-  Recognize learning disabilities

-  Specify emotional difficulties

-  Determine eligibility for accommodations on standardized tests

-  Document need for learning support services

Even if a learning disability or AD/HD is not diagnosed, you can obtain valuable information about yourself or your child from an evaluation.  The assessment will pinpoint strengths and weaknesses.  From this information, you or your child can understand how to use the strengths to help compensate for weaknesses.  You will also obtain information about learning styles and how you or your child best learn.  This information will help you maximize learning and optimize educational opportunities.  Documenting strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles is invaluable in planning interventions, remediation, accommodations, school placement, and career directions.

In total, the assessment will allow specific recommendations to be made so parents and teachers can better help students at home and at school.  Dr. Enochs works in conjunction with parents and other professionals (e.g., physicians, teachers, psychotherapists, educational therapists) in order to provide the best possible treatment for the student.
