Assessments are individually tailored after collaboration to best suit your needs. They can be customized based on the depth and type of assessment.

Depth

Screening

A screening assessment is used to quickly identify issues that require further evaluation or intervention. This is a great place to start if you are seeking a preliminary understanding or are looking to decide if further testing is required.

Targeted

A targeted assessment is used when a specific question or concern needs a clear, focused answer. By zeroing in on the most relevant areas, a targeted assessment provides efficient, meaningful insights that can guide next steps and help someone better understand themselves.

Comprehensive

A comprehensive assessment is used to gain an in-depth understanding of processing, attention, memory, emotional, and behavioral functioning. It helps clarify diagnoses, guides effective treatment planning, identifies co-occurring conditions, and directs method of intervention.

Type

A psychoeducational evaluation is designed to understand how a person learns. It typically assesses cognitive abilities (like memory, processing speed, and problem-solving), academic skills (such as reading, writing, and math), and sometimes social-emotional functioning. These evaluations are commonly used to identify learning disabilities or to qualify a student for school-based support (like an IEP or 504 Plan).

A neuropsychological assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that looks at how a person thinks, learns, remembers, processes information, and manages emotions. It helps identify things like ADHD, autism traits, learning, giftedness, anxiety, and more. It is especially helpful when school, work, or life feels harder than it should - and you're not sure why.

A psychological assessment helps uncover the emotional and behavioral patterns that may be impacting daily life, learning, relationships, or mental health. This is done using interviews, standardized tests, observations, and information from other sources. The purpose is to diagnose mental health conditions, understand strengths and challenges, and guide treatment planning or recommendations.

An IQ assessment is a test that measures a person's cognitive abilities, like reasoning, memory, and language, compared to others their age. It helps identify intellectual strengths or weaknesses, and is often used for diagnosing disabilities, identifying giftedness, or supporting educational planning.
