To make an appointment:

Dr. Susan Enochs is committed to helping students and their families maximize educational opportunities and reach their full potential.  Oftentimes, families wonder why students struggle in school.  Dr. Enochs individualizes an assessment that pinpoints learning styles and can identify whether a learning disability or attention deficit exists.

Do You Know Someone Who:

  • Has trouble following directions

  • Daydreams during class or work

  • Loses or forgets homework, assignments or paperwork

  • Produces inconsistent work

  • Has difficulty completing a task from start to finish

  • Experiences a drop in grades or work performance

  • Cannot seem to remember what was just learned

  • Misunderstands what parents, teachers, or bosses say

  • Has difficulty relating to peers

  • Is frequently reprimanded because of disruptive behavior in the classroom

  • Daydreams or is bored in class because (s)he is not sufficiently challenged

  • Experiences chronic failure in school or work

  • Has persistent conflicts with parents or coworkers

People with learning disabilities or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) are often described as:

  • "lazy"

  • "unmotivated"

  • "could do better"

  • "not working up to potential"

People with learning disabilities or ADHD are not lazy or unmotivated.  They put 150% of their effort into school and work and still underachieve.  This is the nature of these conditions.
